Christopher has extensive experience of planning, delivery & marketing, including senior management skills. Starting with the UK’s largest house builder, as regional land buyer, he moved to Wiggins Group PLC as London Land Buyer. He was National Land Buyer for Hayklan Special Concepts.
Christopher moved to Russia in 1992, where he project managed one of the first buildings to be developed in Moscow since 1917, subsequent to this Christopher was appointed Deputy Head of Property for Promstroi Bank overseeing the facilities management of the Bank’s property holdings from bank branches and office buildings to leisure resorts located in 182 cities and 11 time zones.
Christopher was a director and shareholder of a Russian property company specialising in the planning of logistics parks in the Former Soviet Union and planned over 6 million square metres of planned space for international and local clients, moving back to the U.K in early 2004 Christopher moved into the Student Accommodation sector, before concentrating in the delivery of Social Housing in 2016.
Post University and Eaton college Meyrick obtained a commission in the British Army at Sandhurst becoming a member of the Honorable Artillery Company. Meyrick spent a decade at Goldman Sachs where he co-founded and co-headed the industrial business, building it to $450m. He moved to Rothschild for a further decade, where he built a similar €250m business. He then spent 5 years at Waddell & Reed, built and co-managed the Ivy Strategy Fund (AUM $107 billion).
In total, he has advised on over $130bn of capital markets and M&A transactions, including the sale of Jaguar land Rover and Volvo Cars. In 1992, he founded National Wind Power, the UK’s first wind-power business; and worked extensively in the space since, including the construction of GT 1, in the German north sea which at the time of construction was the largest wind farm in the World.
Meyrick is a Independent Non Executive Director of Thakeham Homes the largest house builder in the South of England and is currently advising Lotus Cars on their expansion strategy in England and China and is a non executive Director of Gordon Murray Design.
